How are you keeping up with Quarantine?

Recently I had the pleasure of being interviewed by Kasia Gregorczyk from Fox 5 San Diego about the COVID-19 Quarantine. I want to thank Fox for this amazing opportunity to share some advice for weathering this chaos!

Here are some highlights from the interview:

Quarantine is actually a really good opportunity for your relationship. You get a chance before you’re 25 years into this to see how this person handles stress. This is an opportunity to really build something strong and to ask those tough questions and get to know this person on a deeper level.

You need to have some structure, and you need to have something that you look forward to. We’re not going to be in this forever. If you fall completely out of routine during quarantine, it will be that much harder to engage in the world once things start to return to normal.

You might not be connecting. Maybe you haven’t been talking, there’s no date nights, there’s not really anything deep that’s happening. It’s possible you’ve just kind of been skating along and I do worry about that. The last couple of weeks I’ve seen a big increase in clients calling looking for support. It will all come to an end eventually, but for now, things may look rocky.

No one wants their relationships to fail. During these unprecedented times, turning to a professional can really help. Here at The Relationship Place, we’re moving online with remote therapy. We can help you get through this. Schedule your consultation with our expert team today!
